Rosa Giucci - ItalyI’m Miss Rosa Giucci, do you remember me? Tomorrow I leave Boston. I have had good days with my host family: Charlotte is a polite woman. She helped me with everything I needed and I think she has considered me like a daughter. Tyler is an adorable child, he is so intelligent, and sometimes he corrects my sentences in English. We often play together and when I come back from school he runs to me and gives me a big kiss. Sarah, the housekeeper, is a very nice woman and she cooks very well. I love her salads, hamburgers, and she cooks pesto for me. She knows I am from Italy, my parents, and my cooking. I prepared a sauce for “fettucine” and the family likes this.
Now, I want to thank you for your hard work in getting me a nice homestay. Without it I would have been unhappy. I think that I will not forget you, Boston, and my host family. I hope to send you a letter or a post card from Italy. Excuse me for my English. |
