A one-time enrollment or placement fee of $150-$275, depending on length of stay and location, is paid to At Home in Boston for all arrangements. This covers the cost of selecting and arranging for a homestay with an appropriate host family in an easily accessible location, as well as securing your reservation for a private, fully furnished room at low cost with a pre-screened host family.

1. Housing plan for ESL students

Plan 1 is designed especially for English-as-a-Second-Language (ESL) students, as it includes practice in English and full immersion into an American family. The cost per month is $775-$850 paid directly to the host family on the first  day of the homestay. This plan includes both breakfast and a dinner prepared by the host parent. The enrollment fee is paid to At Home in Boston prior to arrival at home of host family. Those students registering for Plan 1 can expect to receive much attention to their need to practice English with their At Home in Boston host family.

2. Housing plan for medical and other graduate students

Plan 2 is largely for medical and other graduate students. Research scholars, professors, and doctors are also welcome.
The cost per month is $650-$775. With this plan a continental breakfast and kitchen privileges are included. The enrollment fee becomes due once a mutually agreeable option has been arranged.
